Chick Corea (1941–2021), pianist/keyboardist and composer, spanned post-bop, Latin jazz and electric fusion. After pivotal work with Miles Davis (In a Silent Way, Bitches Brew), he co-founded Return to Forever and led both Elektric and Akoustic bands.
