Collection: Ancient Infinity Orchestra

Ancient Infinity Orchestra formed in Leeds in the late 2010s around double-bassist and composer Ozzy Moysey, who assembled a fifteen-member ensemble drawing musicians from the northern England contemporary jazz scene. Their  references include Pharoah Sanders, Alice Coltrane and Sun Ra. "River of Light" (Gondwana, 2023), their Gondwana Records debut was recorded at The Nave, a recording studio in Pudsey, England. "It's Always About Love" (2025) continued in the same direction. "It's Always About Liberation" (Universal UK, 2026) is their most recent release, described as moving into darker and more searching emotional territory. Leeds's jazz community is genuinely distinctive within the UK context, and AIO are its largest ensemble.
