New Sydney retailer brings curated jazz vinyl to collectors nationwide, from Blue Note reissues to rare Japanese pressings

Sydney, Australia, October 2025 — Lush Life Records (lushliferecords.com.au) opened this month as a dedicated online jazz vinyl retailer serving collectors across Australia. The store carries new audiophile reissues, vintage pressings, Japanese imports, and contemporary jazz releases, with every title hand-picked and graded in-house.

The store launched with stock spanning the Blue Note Tone Poet and Classic Series, Verve and Impulse! reissues, US, UK and Australian contemporary jazz on labels including Brownswood and International Anthem, and a curated selection of Japanese pressings from the 1970s and 1980s.

"There's no shortage of places to buy vinyl in Australia, but jazz has always been an afterthought. I wanted to build a store where the curation itself tells you something, where every record in the catalogue is there for a reason." said Will Turner, founder of Lush Life Records.

"I started this as a collector who kept buying from overseas because nothing local was stocking the records I wanted. At some point it made more sense to just build the store."
